Points Method
If you use the Move-N Resident Care program method POINTS (originally set up in Fee Setup tab of the Community Setup section):
Points Field: Assign the number of points for this level of care. These points accumulated will provide a total care cost for the resident. (Rate levels by total points will be set up in the Section Rate Levels.)
Minute Field (optional): Fill in the Minutes field with the actual minutes required for this service. This will be helpful when actually scheduling staff members who provide care.
Cost per Minute: (optional) Completion of this field will allow tracking of labor costs.
Frequency: Indicate the different frequency levels for which the service may occur. During the assessment process the points may be multiplied by the frequency. Example: Escorting to meals may be one point; but if you escort to meals 3 times daily, you may want to assign 3 points.
There is a setting to define whether the system calculates rates using frequency. It can be found in the Fee Setup tab of the Community Setup.
