G/L Specific Tab

  • Click on the G/L Specific tab from the General Ledger Interface link. 


The General Ledger Account Number to which Room Rate and Assessment Fees will be posted may be defined here by selecting the account number from the drop down list next to each Type Service. Note that these MUST be defined in order for posting to take place. Also note that the same General Ledger Account Number may be used if the detailed breakdown of billing is not required. In the example above, there is a unique account number for each type of service. This will produce detailed information in the General Ledger reports, breaking down billing by type of service.


Current Aging: Displays the current aging at the time of the last monthly closing.


Projected Billing: Displays the projected billing for the new accounting month.


Current Payments (Since Closing): Displays any payments by category that have been entered since the last monthly closing.


Adjustments and Balance Entries (Since Closing): displays totals by category for any adjustments and Balance entries entered since the last monthly closing.

Current Aging: Displays the current aging at the time of the last monthly closing.

NOTE: For the Type of Service list to be available, the Services Desired section of the Preferences Library must be completed. Access the Administrative tab from the Preferences screen, available under the Libraries menu.

  • Select the Type of Service and assign an Account Number to the detail to be applied for that Type of Service.
