Adjustments
Adjustments are changes to previously billed charges or payments and should only be used for adjusting previous billings and adjusting previous payments. Adjustments may not be made to billing items that have not yet posted through a month-end close. All adjustments are posted after clicking the Record Adjustment button.
- Click on Adjustments from the Accounts Receivable screen (Main A/R Menu > Accounts Receivable > Adjustments).
- Select the status of the resident for whom the adjustment will be made: Moved In, Moved Out, Inquiry, or Lost/NQ.
- Select the Resident name from the drop-down list.
- From Select Type, choose the area to which the adjustment is to be applied: Billing, Payments, Advances, Deposits, or Balance Entries or leave blank to select all.
