Setting Up Move-N for Centerpointe
To begin using Move-N with Centerpointe the following areas need to be configured within the Move-N program.
- Community Setup > Options tab: Check the Community Uses Move-N Centerpointe? box.
- Community Setup > Email tab: Ensure that your company/personal email server address and appropriate settings are defined. Please contact your IT department for assistance with these settings if you do not know them.
- Use SMTP Email - Check to enable SMTP Email
- SMTP Server Address or IP Address - Fully Qualified Name or IP address of SMTP mail server.
- SMTP Server Port - Port for SMTP protocol
- SMTP Connection Time Out - Indicate the number of seconds to wait for a valid socket connection to SMTP service before timing out.
- Use Authentication Method - Allows for switching between Basic and NTLM authentication methods.
- SMTP Use SSL - Check if SMTP server uses SSL
- Use Proxy Server - Check if mail server is connected to a proxy server
- Employee Library: Centerpointe can notify employees via email when a new lead arrives. Make sure the Email Information in the Employee record is completed.
- Username: This will be the username used to authenticate to your email server.
- Password: This will be the password used to authenticate to your email server.
- Make sure the Employee fields for Email and "Notify employee via email of new Lead from Centerpointe" are filled and checked.
